In keeping with our commitment to electronic liquidity provision, GETCO has also chosen to invest in five electronic exchanges, CHI-X, BATS, Eris, ELX & NYSE Liffe U.S. These organizations are aligned with our goal of utilizing technology to create efficiencies for investors, and we believe the market as a whole benefits from their competition.
We have also sought out leaders in our industry to serve in an advisory role to the organization. They include former SEC Chairman Arthur Levitt, Dr. Richard Lindsey, and the global growth firm General Atlantic.
