NOTICE OF BUSINESS CONTINUITY PLAN
GETCO Execution Services™ (“GES’) is committed to
serving its clients, even in the face of
unforeseeable events such as severe weather, power
failures, or terrorist attacks. GES™ is committed
to continuing critical operations, when possible,
during these periodic interruptions. Our goal is
always to serve our subscribers with no interruption
in service, and when that is impossible, to limit the
scope and duration of any interruption.
In accordance with applicable regulations, GES has
developed and maintains written business continuity
plans that include responsive protocols for
unplanned interruptions in service. The business
continuity plans also enable us to continue critical
operations, to the extent possible, during a disruption.
These plans are designed to enable GES to continue
critical operations whether the disruption is firm-
wide or city-wide, affecting an entire business,
building, district or region. Some of the key
components of our plans include:
·Mission critical systems, including the backup and
recovery of such systems
·Alternate communications capabilities between GES
and our subscribers
·Employee safety strategies and communications
·Alternate physical site location and preparedness
·Alternate telecommunication and system accessibility
Our business continuity plans are reviewed and tested
annually. Senior management has designated a business
continuity principal to approve the plan and manage
the annual review. In order for the plans to be
effective, they must remain secure and confidential.
Therefore, GES does not provide specific details in
this notice. However, GES will endeavor to maintain
communication with its subscribers in the event of
such a disruption in service.
The plans may be subject to change, and should any
material changes be implemented, this notice will be
updated to reflect those changes. In addition, we
may modify this notice at any time. Such modifications
are effective upon posting to our website. You may
